Venue Hire
The Opunake Surf Lifesaving Club building is a great venue for any type of celebrations. We have played host to wedding receptions, birthdays, family or business celebrations, school outings, and many more.
We don't hire out during patrolling hours in most cases - due to the nature of our club, we generally need access to our whole building.

- Meeting Rate - 2hrs (minimum) $150 +$250 bond
- Half day/4 hours $250 plus $250 Bond
- Full day/ 8 hours $700 plus $500 bond
- 2 Days $1200 plus $500 bond
- Hire Conditions
- Persons applying must be over 25yrs.
- No aged birthdays (16/18/21st) likely permitted.
- There must be adults at any event who are recorded as being in charge
- Opunake Surf Club reserves the right to decline applications for use of Clubhouse or to stipulate that user’s hire security.
- A refund will not be given if the event is shut down because of complaints or misconduct.
- Usually a full refund will be given if you cancel unless costs were incurred by the club for your hire.
- NO VAPING OR SMOKING IN OR AROUND PREMISES - need to be off site e.g. public space.
